This is the second and updated version of My Soul Challenge. It can be used by everyone but this version was created especially for women in perimenopause and menopause.

About the Project

The idea of My Soul Challenge first came to light in 2018 from a deep need for self-care and healing. I was running my naturopathic medicine practice on my own, trying to meet everyone else’s needs, seeing patients, doing all the administrative work, having a young child at home, and having a partner who traveled a lot for work. I was juggling all the balls, trying to do it all, and I was burnt out but taking a break from work and parenting was not an option for me.

I like a good challenge, so I decided I would create an App with a deck of cards to make self-care fun and easy. I went through all the challenges as I created them and started to feel better. Less overwhelmed, less exhausted, and more present. It became part of my own journey of recovering from burnout.

The App was finally done, the cards printed, I had a great time promoting the game as a way to get people to make self-care a priority. Then the pandemic hit, my App developer moved and the project went into hibernation for a while.

After a few years, I am recreating the project, as the one thing we all have in common from living through the past few years is having experienced major stress, and the need for self-care is more important than ever. In many ways, My Soul Challenge 2.0 is built with the same intention of promoting self-care and wellness as the original project, but with a new approach making it easier to access.

My Soul Challenge 2.0 can be used by all, but is mainly intended for women who want to nourish their body, mind, and soul. I am one of you, looking to unlearn years of putting everyone else first, being a people pleaser and a perfectionist, and finally putting my needs and my well-being on the list.

If you have the cards, thank you for supporting the project. You can use them as a source of inspiration if you’d like. If you don’t have the cards, don’t worry, you won’t need them as you’ll find everything right here on this website.
